Couples Review: Fun Factory Volta

Let me first start by saying that this toy was 100% my decision to purchase. I was browsing online and it caught my eye. Something about the two fluttering tips was super intriguing to me. When it arrived and we turned it on for the first time, I was surprised to see how much power it had. The different vibration speeds could literally go from really slow to almost shockingly fast.

When we used the toy in action for the first time, it was actually kind of comical. My husband was in control of the Volta and used it on me during foreplay. Because of the way the tips flutter, it can be very confusing for someone (not being pleasured) to be in control of the toy. It is hard to know exactly where to position and place the tips. He tried a few different spots but I just wasn’t feeling it. After him twisting and turning it a few different times around my clit, I took over and found that the lips fluttering side to side instead of up and down actually felt the best. Who knew? I also preferred a milder setting, the highest vibration level was a little too much in my opinion.

Using the Volta as a couple was somewhat awkward. Since I was in control and laying on my back, there was really no way for him to enter me. The best position for dual stimulation would be for him to enter me from behind while I used the Volta externally. To be honest, we didn’t even really get that far because we were too busy laughing at the entire ordeal and the sexiness of the toy was a little diminished.

Overall, I think the Volta is a great toy for self pleasure, but not so much for couple use. I can definitely see myself enjoying this toy while my man is away or out of town and I need some release. 🙂

I will say…we are looking forward to giving it another try during oral sex. I plan on using it on his shaft while I give him a blow job. I’ll be sure to update the post once we’ve given it a go, so I can share my thoughts. All in all, the toy didn’t blow me away but I do think it definitely can get the job done once you figure out how to position it correctly.

For me this review is a short one. In an effort to expand the toys we were trying, Jane decided to give this one a try because it was different than your typical vibrator that is for internal use.

When it showed up it was clear right away that Fun Factory puts a lot of time and effort into the quality of the packaging and the device itself. The box is a nice package with everything placed so you progress through the opening process in a way that gets you up and running with the toy quickly. Our toy had a little charge in it when we got it so we could figure out how to use it before really getting down to business.

When it came time to put this toy into action I was in left field. I tried moving it around to different positions, I tried different vibration modes and intensities. I could tell I hit the right spot a few times but could never keep it there. After a few laughs I just handed over the controls. I figure if this thing has two “flapping tongues” maybe I’m not the right one to be behind the wheel. Of course, once she took control things headed in the right direction, quickly.

After a ton of trial and error, once it was in the right position it was kinda cool but this thing seems more like a solo-for-her type of toy. They market as being for couples but its just flat out awkward trying to get it in the right spot with two people unless your doing it doggy style.
